Michael Gaer, CFP®, CWPP®
Michael Gaer is the President and Founder of The Gaer Financial
Group, Inc. After graduating from the University of Miami in 1990
with a Bachelors Degree in Finance he has worked for some of the
elite Wall Street Financial Planning firms. He formed Gaer Financial
Group in 1998 on the premise of providing the best possible advice to
High Net-Worth families. Michael Gaer's focus is on advanced
planning. Advanced planning is planning for high income/net worth
clients that is derived from topics that few advisors in the country
are aware of (or if they are aware of the topics, advisors know too
little about the topics to incorporate them into a plan for
clients). The topics are much more beneficial than the every
day solutions traditional advisors use and therefore the topics are
not known and not used except by a select few top level advisors
around the country. While most Advisors practice in one or two
different areas, then assume that a CPA, Attorney or another
financial Service representative will take care of the
"other" areas of the families financial plan, Michael
Gaer's focus is on providing solutions rather than selling products
and on coordinating the family's entire financial state of affairs.
He has been featured on Bloomberg TV, WABC-TV, News Channel 12 New
Jersey, plus many other television programs and in several Newspapers
and Magazines as well. He is a Member of the New Jersey Better
Business Bureau; as well as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, and
was recently appointed Honorary Chairman to The National Republican
Congressional Committee's Business Advisory Council and named New
Jersey's Businessman of the Year by the Council for his
contributions. Michael also received the distinguished honor of being
named one of Americas Best Financial Planners, by the Consumers'
Research Council of America. He also was named to Marquis Who's Who
in Finance for 2006.
As a lifelong resident of Bergen County New Jersey, Michael has built
his reputation as an honest an ethical financial consultant. Since
1990, Michael Gaer has become one of New Jersey's leading financial
planning experts. His reputation and integrity have resulted in him
being invited to speak at several institutions in New Jersey, as well
many prestigious organizations throughout the United States. He is
